Grocerlist

Grocery List Watch App

Project Overview

The goal of the project was to create a grocery list app that allow users to list their groceries, track their budget and also compare price from stores around them.

Research

The target users of the app are aged around 25-35 I conducted a couple of interviews as well as did online research to develop my understanding of how users interacts with grocery list. With all the information gathered, I came up with a Persona and an Empathy Map.

Empathy map is to visualize and articulate our user feeling. Empathy map helps us build a broader understanding of the “why” aspect behind user needs and wants. May Gauthier is the user in the empathy map, she is a 35 years old stay-home mom that is looking to compare prices and track her expenses on her groceries.

User Flow

With all the information gathered, I came up with a user flow where users can easily navigate to get to their task in just couple taps.

Process

With a clear sense of user flow, I started sketching wireframes before getting into design prototypes.

SOLUTION

With a well thought out user flow, users can now easily list their groceries, track their budget and also compare price from stores around them on their Apple Watch.
